I ran my previous website using Google Sites, because it was free and integrated with my Google Apps account. It was pretty basic and and also awkward. With the studio build slowly nearing completion, I figured it was time to up my website game. So I switched to Bandzoogle.
Bandzoogle is supposed to be one of the best website builders and hosting systems for music creators. They don't specifically target recording studios as their audience, but they have a decent website creation system, and features such as music streaming and merchandise sales tools. I signed up for a 30 day trial, slowly built out the basic pages, and am now ready to launch.
I would love to have the site full of photos of the completed studio and sample music that I've recorded, but that will have to wait until I have a completed studio and music recorded.
